Blog Post Jan 13 - Good Critic, Bad Critic
Good:
I like the background that Nader used. It looks like a potential background for vintage. I really hope this will be the yearbook cover for our class.
Bad:
I don't like the lack of detail on your "picture". Make the picture black & white; it could add more of a vintage feel.
Add writing, title, year etc.
Add more components, maybe even a gradient design.

Blog Post Jan 8 - Why did you choose your original historic photo?
For my historic photo, I chose a scene from a game from the 1997 NBA Finals in which Michael Jordan (a basketball player) was playing through flu-like symptoms. As I tried to work with the photo, the main challenge I had was finding a picture that I could fit into the original photo and have it blend in. In other words, I also thought a challenging part of the assignment was to decide where exactly I wanted to place the photo, and how I can have it look like the character was actually in the event. I felt like I was successful due to the fact that I had the colors match the scenario. I felt like the area of vintage I was most drawn to was the 1940s.

Blog Post for January 7 Online Copyright
I think that you can use someone else's work to some extent. In other words, if you choose to write a research paper, you may read another person's work and write your own thoughts about the post. If you choose to use their work, however, you have to abide by the copyright laws of the work itself. Requesting the person's permission is also recommended.

Capstone Topic & Innovation, Idea, or Invention
My Capstone topic will address the issue of drug overdose. Drug overdosing is a major issue in the pharmaceutical field, and I believe part of the reason is because there has not been enough attention drawn to suppress it. My plan to help with this issue is to spread awareness through websites, seminars, etc. Part of the solution is to also provide pharmacy counseling and to prescribe smaller quantities.
